Cackle and Yuck Yuck

I was in the kitchen today, and the boys crawled into the office.  Then I just heard laughing coming from that front room.  I grabbed the camera and peeked in on them to find this scene.  

Oliver cackles.  Solomon yuck-yucks.

(Just for reference, this happened about 20 minutes after a complete explosion involving block throwing and hand biting.  Brothers.)

Oliver turns One

Oliver discovers balloons for the first time. 

Our small party: Mama, Oliver, Solomon, Melody, Daniel, Harley, Randal, Susan.

Oliver was a bit mesmerized when everyone sang to him.  Solomon blew out his candle.  

Pumpkin pie and whipping cream, his first real dessert.  

Oliver was skeptical at first.  I had to take a taste and look happy.  Then I dipped my finger in and gave him a taste.  

He wasted no time digging in after his initial bite.
