Oliver's Fourth Birthday Party

Oliver is four!  This year Oliver specifically asked for a "gnome party".  So, I figured I could try to actually have a themed party rather than just throwing together a cake and inviting some friends.  We all wore gnome hats and ate little gnome snacks.  Then there was a knock on the door.  We opened it to discover pouches and a letter.  The letter was from the gnomes asking for help to find all the treasures in the front yard.  The gnomes at our party all agreed they would help and went out digging for the gems.  Then we all came in and ate soup, salad and cake.  These guys were so cute I laughed the whole time.  Even the parents joyfully wore their gnome hats.  Such a beautiful autumn day.
