June

I am learning about living in Colorado. Here I am in my Baba's hat, looking like a Colorado Boy. I am at my first wedding in this picture. My friend Renee married her sweetheart Kevin last weekend. Their Best Man and Maid of Honor were Renee's children, and my Mama's students, Max and Jamie. The wedding was simple and gorgeous. I nursed through the entire ceremony, but I was told by my Mama that Renee and Kevin looked stunning and their vows were beautiful. Our friends Lorraine and Craig played the cello and guitar for the ceremony and I enjoyed listening to the music.

Ron, another Buddha, came to visit us this week. He just finished a week of cooking for a spiritual retreat in Crestone (he's a Vegan chef, among other things). After the retreat, he stayed with us for a few days, rafted with Baba, and hiked with Mama and me.

This is my "Uncle Gabe". He's pretty cool. He taught me how to roast a chicken and open a beer with a hammer (see the next picture).

Here I am with my Mama's cousin Todd. Todd thought he was destined to never have cousins. Then, when he was 16, my Mama was born. She wore all pink and called herself 'Memin' (since she couldn't say 'Megan'). Todd still calls her "Pink Memin".
