Just some undeniably cute moments with the boys

Big boy.

Oliver seems to enjoy doing things all at once. For 4 1/2 months, he slept for 45 minutes-2hours at a time. Then, suddenly, he slept 7pm to 7am, only waking up once in the middle of the night. He never went back. When he started eating, he devoured an entire 4 oz jar of mashed foodstuff...three times a day. For the past month he would sit up for a few seconds at a time before he rolled over one way or another, or faceplanted. Then one week ago, he sat up for seven or eight minutes straight. Now, he's stable in his sitting pose and loves his new vantage point. The only thing that brings him down is a tackle hug from Solomon. Sol doesn't know his own brotherly loving strength.

This is pretty typical. Solomon: dreamy. Oliver: reaching out and smiling.

Don't know exactly what is going on here, but it makes me laugh.

A kiss.

Solomon can't wait for Oliver to be big enough to wrestle.

Solomon loves learning how the world works. This picture is when he learned how to use a clothes pin. He was very excited.

Snuggly and cuddly.

PS--One moment I'm not showing you is the two-year-old temper tantrum when Solomon screamed "I want to" at the top of his lungs for 15 minutes straight, sticking his pudgy little hands underneath the door. He had been screaming so loudly during his bedtime routine that Jon Ray could not possibly read him a story. So Jon Ray put him to bed without a story. Apparently, at that moment Solomon decided he did want a story.

In other news, I'm experimenting with making fabric baskets. They have burlap outsides and canvas interiors. On the larger ones I printed designs. The smaller ones are made from recycled coffee sacks.
