June

Jon Ray walking with Solomon. The boys and I joined him for a picnic lunch by the river one day while he was working. He and Solomon walked down the path to see the gardens he had made for a client. Solomon adores his Baba!

Solomon and his milk mustache, drinking from his mug.

Oliver smiling in his hat made by Franny.

An apple numbers painting I made for the boys room.

Two little paintings I made for the boys. Letter C for Car is on the way.

Shirtless in the grass.

Gardners in the grass.

Solomon, giving Oliver a hug.

Our feet. Solomon is really excited about the sewer system right now. (Boy potty training.)

An attempt at a timed photo.

I adore this picture. Action shot eating a picnic lunch at the park.

Summer is here in full effect! We are spending a lot of time at the parks and pool. We are expecting all the Grandparents for visits soon, as well as Aunt Hayley and cousin Jack in August. Oliver is nearly crawling. He rocks back and forth on his hands and knees, but ends up moving backwards or falling on his face. He grunts and spits and coos and tries to grab everything. Solomon is jumping, kicking soccer balls, and will put his face under water at the pool. He loves stories and I tell him stories for pedagogical reasons all the time. He is now exclusively in underware except for nap and night time. Oliver sometimes sleeps through the night, but if not, he wakes up at 5am for nursing. Hopefully, by the end of summer, we will have the boys in the same room. Jon Ray is working 12-15 hour days landscaping and gardening. His first harvest was this Monday. The garden is beautiful! Meg is loving being a Mama, planning to start an online art business (more on this later) and will be teaching one-on-one at the Waldorf School this fall. Starting Friday we will have family visiting every day for the rest of June. Flowers are blooming, the sky is blue and the air is hot.
