June beginnings

Here we go.  Mama is home each day.  Baba is in the world of dirt, water, vegetables and flowers from sunrise to sunset.  It's summer time.  Life is moving quickly.

Oliver cuddled up in a towel after bath.

Solomon in his towel after bath.

I adore how Oliver is looking at his big brother in this picture.
Although Oliver has very few words (Baba, Mama, bus, fish), he uses a lot of baby signs and signs for his brother more than anything else.  If Solomon is out of sight, Oliver signs for brother and gives me a questioning sound.  When I tell him where Solomon is, he runs to find him.  Runs.

Here are the boys blowing dandelions in the backyard.
They all went to seed in one day, our first full day of sun after a week of mad rain.

Oh, those cheeks and lips!

Oliver tried to blow them, but ended up fluffing them with his hands.  He spread them enthusiastically all over the yard.  Ha!

The boys and their girlfriends making dinner in the kitchen.

I just love this photo, although blurry, of the Meadows and Gardners jumping on the couch.
Aiden is airborne, looking in the mirror, Clara's pants are falling off, and Oliver has fallen down.

This video is of a moment when the Meadows were at our house.
Yes, sometimes this is my life.
High.  Energy.

Here is Solomon trying to explain how he put his pants on all by himself.  He had gone to the bathroom and closed the door behind him.  He was gone a long time.  Just as I was getting up to make sure everything was fine, he came out and explained to me that he got dressed all by himself, but it took him three tries.  He kept putting both legs in one pant leg and couldn't find the pant leg with the dragon on it.
