Baba's Garden

Jon Ray's garden is thriving. This week he harvested broccoli, cabbage, basil, greens, beets, orange yellow and purple carrots, snap peas, and chard. Onions and summer squash are almost ready. These pictures are from several weeks ago, but after a request for pictures of the garden, we thought we'd post these for you. Happy summer harvesting and eating!

Jon Ray in the garden.

Peas.

Rows of beets.

Pea flowers.

One side of the garden. Some salad greens grow under hoops to protect them from the hot sun. Potatoes are next to them.

Huge row of cilantro.

Water on kale.

Peaking underneath the hoop to see the young salad greens.
